Ajoy Chawla has been named the next Managing Director of Titan Company Limited, with his appointment set to take effect on January 1, 2026. Currently serving as the CEO of Titan’s Jewellery Division, Ajoy has played a pivotal role in driving a 2.5x increase in sales and profits since 2019, demonstrating his strategic expertise in expanding market share and fostering new business ventures.
His journey with Titan dates back to 1991, when he joined the Tata Administrative Services (TAS). Over the years, he has held key positions across finance, sales, retail, and various strategic business units spanning Watches, Accessories, and International markets. Prior to leading the Jewellery Division, Ajoy served as Chief Strategy Officer, where he successfully scaled the Fragrances business and spearheaded the establishment of Taneira. His formal induction as Managing Director remains subject to shareholder approval, with the company set to initiate the search for his successor in the Jewellery Division soon.
