Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd has appointed Rajeev Kher , its Independent Director, as the new Chairperson of the Board following a decision at the April 29, 2025, Board meeting. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
With over four decades of experience in international trade, industrial development, and regulatory governance, Kher has previously served as Commerce Secretary to the Government of India and held senior roles in the Ministries of Environment and Commerce.
