Vedanarayanan Seshadri (Veda) has been appointed as the Managing Director of Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Limited. Bringing over three decades of experience in the BFSI sector, including 15 years in senior insurance leadership roles, Veda is set to drive the company’s next phase of growth. His expertise in insurance distribution, profitability management, and digital transformation underscores Royal Sundaram’s commitment to customer-centric, technology-driven operations.
Before taking on this role, Veda served as Managing Director at Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited for more than four years. His tenure at Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Ltd. included key positions such as President & COO and President – Health & Digital SBU. At Tata AIA Life Insurance, he was Senior VP and Business Head – East, overseeing strategic planning and alliances. Earlier in his career, he played pivotal roles at ICICI Bank as Head of Product & Marketing – Mortgages and at Ballarpur Industries Limited as Regional Sales Head – South. With leadership experience spanning insurance, banking, and corporate sales, Veda is well-equipped to spearhead complex business transformations at Royal Sundaram.
