Santanu Mitra has been appointed as the Managing Director and Country Head for Corporate Banking – Large and Midcap at DBS Bank India. Previously serving as the MD and Head of Digital Economy and Institutional Banking at DBS Singapore, Santanu was instrumental in developing the bank's digital economy initiatives and expanding its footprint in the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sectors across India, Singapore, and the US. With more than two decades of international experience, he has held prominent leadership positions at PT AXIS Telekom Indonesia and Macquarie Bank International Ltd.
In his new role at DBS India, he will focus on advancing institutional banking for large corporations and multinational companies, driving strategic growth, and fostering stronger client relationships.
